One day in 2007, Michael Zhuang's physician came to him and, knowing Michael had a background in finance, asked for his help. The physician told Michael that he was dying of pancreatic cancer and he desperately needed help putting his family's finance in good order. He didn’t want to cause more troubles for the family he would leave behind. 

Having only ever managed large capital funds, Michael set to work helping the physician’s family prepare for the worst and prepare for a future without their father.

“I don't know how we could have survived without you.”

Months later, after the physician had passed, the physician's wife said to Michael, “I don't know how we could have survived without you.” And from there, Michael found his purpose: bringing his analytical mind to families, helping them build and protect their financial future simply.
